Orthotics
"I had the blues because I had no shoes until upon the street, I met a man who had no feet." -Denis Waitley, Author

An imbalance in the feet can distort the skeletal structure of your body, and can affect other areas of the body causing pain or loss of movement or motion.

Relief from abnormal motion of the foot is possible by using custom orthotics which realign the foot to a neutral and natural stance. Realignment of the feet will restore balance, reducing the discomfort of walking, running and standing and improve the pain in the feet, legs and hips.

What is a Custom Foot Orthotic?
A custom foot orthotic is a device designed to align the foot and ankle into the most anatomically efficient position. They look like insoles, but are precision medical devices that are custom-made to correct your specific imbalance and biomechanical misalignment (e.g. high arch or flat feet).

Custom orthotics work on your feet much like glasses work on your eyes - they reduce stress and strain on your body by bringing your feet back into proper alignment. The plastic body of the custom orthotic helps to re-align the foot by redirecting and reducing certain motion that takes place during the gait cycle.

At our clinic, we professionally fit you for custom orthotics that will fit into your shoes as comfortably as an insole - and they have the advantage of having been made from precise imprints of your feet.
