There are two ways of being creative. One can sing and dance. Or one can create an environment in which singers and dancers flourish. - Warren G Bennis, Author

The word “chiropractic” comes from ancient Greek and means “done by hand." These manual manipulations have been used in the healing arts for many centuries and are at the heart of modern chiropractic care.

Dr. Barb Maclean
In her late teens Barb suffered a bad accident that left her with constant headaches and numbness in her hands even after two years of physiotherapy and rehabilitation. While doctors were suggesting a spinal fusion, a family friend who happened to be a neurosurgeon recommended a chiropractor. Out of sheer desperation, Barb saw a Chiropractor and the results were amazing. Headaches and numbness were virtually eliminated and she had a new career option.
Prior to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic, Barb received an honours degree in Kinesiology-Sports Medicine from the University of Waterloo. She treated varsity and elite athletes both on the field and in the rehabilitation clinic. While getting her Chiropractic degree, she also found time to head up the operation of a busy motor vehicle accident rehabilitation centre.
Dr. Maclean graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1996. In 2001 Dr. Maclean completed her fellowship in Paediatric Chiropractic.
I am so thankful my job enables me work and help my patients but also the flexibility to be there for my family, My husband and I have three wonderful children Jocelyn, Darien and Tara. And let's not forget the dog, Willow.
I love my job! Each day I go to work and get to help people. I am thankful for those who have trusted me to help them.
